Overland travel has a way of accelerating relationships. In normal life, it takes months or years to build trust. On the road, when you are sharing mechanical trouble, crossing mountain passes in heavy fog, and eating hot local stews around a campfire, barriers disappear in days.

We started the journey as ten individuals from different cities, professions, and age groups. Some were quiet, others loud. But by the fifth evening, sitting around a long wooden table in a home stay in Mestia, sharing local chacha and telling stories of our childhoods, we realized the group had shifted. We weren't just sharing a route anymore. We had become a family.
