General Questions

What exactly is Borderless Moto Tours?

Borderless Moto Tours organizes small-group international road journeys designed for meaningful exploration. Travellers can join either motorcycle journeys or self-drive SUV expeditions, experiencing destinations through curated routes, cultural interactions and shared group experiences.

Who typically joins these journeys?

Most participants are professionals, entrepreneurs or experienced travellers between the ages of 38 and 65.

Some join alone, others travel with partners or friends. Many participants have dreamed about doing a journey like this for years and finally decide it's time.

Do I need previous expedition experience?

No.

You do not need expedition or long-distance travel experience. If you are comfortable riding or driving locally and enjoy exploring new places, the structure of the journey will support you throughout the experience.

02

Motorcycle Journey Questions

Do I need to be an expert rider?

No.

Our motorcycle journeys are designed for confident everyday riders rather than extreme adventure riders. The pace is relaxed, daily riding hours are manageable, and regular breaks are part of the journey rhythm.

How many hours do we ride each day?

Typically between 3–5 hours spread across the day, with scenic stops, cultural visits and relaxed lunch breaks.

The focus is on enjoying the journey rather than covering long distances.

What if I haven't ridden in a long time?

Many participants join after years away from riding.

As long as you feel comfortable riding locally again, the structure and pacing of the journey make the experience manageable.

03

Self-Drive Expedition Questions

What is a self-drive expedition?

Instead of riding a motorcycle, participants drive an SUV or 4x4 along the same curated route as the group. You experience the same destinations, cultural stops and group activities while enjoying additional comfort and flexibility.

Is this suitable for couples?

Yes.

Many couples choose the self-drive format because it allows them to share the journey together while still experiencing the same exploration and cultural immersion.

04

Logistics & Support

Do you provide support during the journey?

Yes.

Journeys include structured planning, route guidance and logistical coordination so participants can focus on enjoying the experience rather than managing the complexity of international travel.

What type of accommodation can we expect?

Concept boutique hotels or exclusive properties usually 3*/4* rated and vetted by our team using our quality standard check list for location, functional operational requirements, rest and overall travel experience.

These journeys are immersive, but they are not rough travel experiences.

What about food and dietary requirements?

Local cuisine is part of the travel experience, but vegetarian and other dietary preferences can usually be accommodated with advance notice.

05

Preparation & Documents

Do I need a special licence to ride internationally?

In most countries an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required along with your domestic licence. Guidance is provided before the journey.

How do I prepare for the journey?

Once you join a journey, we provide preparation guidance covering documents, packing, riding/drive expectations and travel logistics.

06

Cost & Booking

How much do the journeys typically cost?

Investment varies depending on the destination and format.

Motorcycle journeys typically range between USD 3,500 – 5,500, while self-drive expeditions may range between USD 3,500 – 7,500 per participant.

Exact pricing depends on destination, duration and logistics.

How do I join a journey?

The first step is to either:

  • Schedule a short conversation
  • Submit an application through the website

This helps determine which journey and format suits you best.
